With the press of a simple switch, this safe, robust light dome can create magical, atmospheric, immersive light effects and landscapes. Using light as a catalyst for learning, our immersive projector transforms the everyday into the extraordinary and brings a new dimension to developing communication, creativity, collaboration and critical thinking in the early years. Enrich vocabularies, create catalysts for STEAM based learning and inspire imaginations to soar. This is such an open ended and versatile resource. It can be used independently by the children or for collaborative tasks. Imagine a starry constellation, under the sea or other amazing locations reflected on the walls. WARNING: Unit MUST NOT BE LIT while charging as this is a battery powered unit designed for ~4 hours of illumination per charge.

• WHAT’S INCLUDED: Immersive Projector 13-1/4″ in height, dome is 35” inches in diameter and weighs approx. 11lbs made from Polycarbonate, wood and a soft silicone edge. A touch on/off button. It has a USB charging system with rechargeable battery. Charge time is 6-8 hours. Full charge lasts for ~4 hours. Suitable for 10mths+.
• ENDLESS POSSIBILITESL: Use translucent objects, soft toys, paper to ‘catch’ the shadows on, blocks, dry erase markers to draw on the clear dome, colorful liquid in containers, and so much more to create colorful shadows and environments within your home or classroom.
• VISUAL STIMULATION: Observe children as they focus their eyes on the shadows while their hands manipulate objects separately on the projector. Utilize both the ceilings and walls in imaginative play without boundaries. Move their hands across the dome to make hand puppets or turn the power button on and off to see shadows appear and disappear!
• IMAGINITIVE PLAY: Listen as children narrate stories that come to life across the shadows in the room. From distant planets of monsters to their own mirrored reflections in the light, the wonder and discovery expressed by children highlight all the possibilities of their creativity and imagination.
• COLLABORATIVE, PARALLEL, & SOLITARY PLAY: Have children create shadows on the wall and ceiling by placing objects together on the projector. Watch as they share their amazement and joy at the shadows they create!
