Students Associate Numbers with Amounts While They Play with Puppies

This Standards-based content Grades PreK-K, ready-made Spanish center challenges students to gain a deeper understanding of numbers and how they are visually represented. In this engaging subitizing game, students match the numbers on their chips (represented as numerals, number words, tally marks, dice dots, fingers, or five-frame dots) to the numerals on their fences to keep the puppies in the yard. Through repeated play, students will become more familiar with numbers in their different forms adding to math fact fluency. All material including task/instruction card is in Spanish.
