With multiple activities and methods of learning emotional expression and feelings, the Exploring Emotions Kit is a great way to help students or children engage in emotional and social learning in a way that’s both fun and easy. Each kit contains a set of plush emotion dolls that portray four emotions and name them in both English and Spanish, wooden emotion puzzles that are easy to complete, engaging books that tell stories around a theme and an emotion paddle game that gives children a hands-on approach to showing emotional understanding.

This kit makes a fantastic addition to any classroom, as it includes many ways to learn for a diverse variety of children’s needs. Create a discussion around matching facial expressions to personal emotions and behaviors and show children what it looks like to feel angry, disgusted, sad, scared, happy surprised and more. These teaching tools are perfect for any student or child, including those with ADHD, autism or special needs, as they give children the opportunity to relate to characters that are similar to them: diverse children expressing their emotions. Four soft dolls show mad, scared, sad and happy expressions on their childlike faces. Plus, the corresponding mood words are printed on doll clothing in both English and Spanish for vocabulary building. Photo storybooks also explore these familiar emotions using the images of real children to engage kids in a storytelling scenario. Likewise, game lovers can have a blast creating emotional faces on hand-held boards. Other emotions and feelings include angry, embarrassed, disgusted, shy, proud and surprised.
