As children paint and decorate their wooden bobble hearts, they explore how different shades, backgrounds, and ideas can come together as one. A wonderful MLK activity that inspires teamwork, creativity, and appreciation for the beauty of unity.

How to Create:
1.) Paint the heart using the Colors Like Me™ paint sticks to show a blend of skin tones representing unity and togetherness.
2.) Use the classic paint sticks to color the base and outline the heart with a bright, unifying border.
3.) Layer soft shades to create a “ripple of kindness” effect radiating from the center.
4.) Tie a small bow of twine or ribbon at the front to symbolize connection. (optional)
5.) Display the bobble hearts as a “Circle of Unity” to remind students that every heart matters in building Dr. King’s dream.
